still got some time left in him too
It's incredible, think last year he hinted at hanging the boots up if he won another, but he's re-signed this year so should be kicking on to 400+

Yes after the Sidey goal at the centre bounce he was organising all the boys, and you could clearly see him saying “5 minutes to go” and keeping them on track to manage things to the plan.

GOAT.

Now a 2x Premiership player. Last time we could say that about anyone was back in the 1950s.

Affectionately called in the rooms after the game when his goal was discussed

“ The old man did well”. Gotta love geriatric power

2010 stunned a bit but happy . . .

2023 realizes just how special these moments are and is ripping it up.

Legs may have slowed although he never relied on leg speed

More the mind outpacing all around him.

Today “the slow one” showed some “qwikies” a thing or three

Pendles "the general " is so important in organizing the troops,
...and deciding when to take risks and when to kill the game.
We are so blessed to be witness to one of the greatest players the game has seen.

I expect Pendles to continue in 2024 and help us snaggle the 17th premiership.

Absolutely!!! I could hardly believe the way he was running on top of the ground in the last quarter, when so many younger players were fatiguing. Not only is his stamina incredible, but he still had all those formidable wits about him to organize the play. He's a complete marvel and it's so wonderful to see him looking so happy today.
