I don't have a problem, the explanation is reasonable and she's managed the second best performed state after NSW during Covid when you consider the amount of overseas people coming into HQ and the amount of community transmission.
Now just leaves Dan as the only state premier to not have had a Covid vaccination. She held out as long as she could, even delayed her flu shot to give her another excuse. But in the end a trip overseas forced her hand.
I suppose it's proof that the carrot of being able to travel might just get a few young people to get vaccinated when it's their chance.
It is Queensland so it's warmer than here, she wore a frock that gave easy access to her shoulder for the injection but was still dressy when paired with the jacket, she was going in for the vaccination when she was eligible, I don't see how it could be considered a terrible look?
is it because she went for the Pfizer vacc rather than the AZ Clot Shot that you and I got?
Jumping Que and she is over 50 so she should be getting the AZ Vaccine and Not Pfizer.

Olympians are going overseas. Brisbane might be awarded the Olympics in July, so she might be required to attend. Maybe she got told this week - pack your bags - but say nothing....so Brisbane might be awarded the 2032 Games.

Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says Brisbane may find out as soon as July whether it has won the right to host the 2032 Summer Olympics.

The International Olympic Committee's (IOC) Future Host Summer Commission designated Brisbane as the "preferred candidate city" to host the 2032 Games in February.
In Victoria, 2 new local cases and 1 O/S (currently in HQ). 92 actives cases. 22,814 test results reported. The two local cases are said to be "linked to the current outbreaks".
I want to be clear about a couple of things. Our contact tracing team has done exactly what we needed them to do. They have found the cases, they have tracked them down and they have isolated them.
Thanks to their outstanding work we remain on track to later in this week announce, as we have said we have planned to do all along, further easings of restriction in regional Victoria and careful easing of restrictions in Melbourne.

looks like this Delta variety of the virus that some peanut took on a trip to NSW and back came out of Hotel Quarantine in Melbourne.. They really need to do more frequent testing IMHO. People are only supposed to be in hotel quarantine while they don't have the virus. If they return a positive test, my understanding is that they've moved straight away to a medi hotel facility run by The Alfred, which has a 100% success rate in containing the virus. if they did those quick non-invasive tests every day you wouldn't have people infectious in HQ between tests.

Instead this moron decides to go to go to the vaccination hub at MECC to get a COVID jab. Fortunately staff on the front line go them out of there but it is now listed as Tier 3 exposure site & staff have to isolate.

Restrictions in Melbourne are set to be eased on Thursday night with a 25 kilometre travel bubble to be introduced for Melburnians.
Barring any more mystery cases overnight, students are likely to return to the classroom and metro Melbourne will move to similar restrictions to those current in country Victoria, which includes a ban on home visitors.
There will be density caps on hospitality and entertainment venues under a plan discussed late last night.
Senior government ministers are set to meet this morning to make a final decision.
