Brodie's foot speed isn't the issue - it's his brain speed.

Currently, Brodie is slow to pick an option, giving the opposition enough time to push back and congest the open spaces. That coupled with the ability to not realise when the time to play the ball and not the man arrives (and vice versa).

On the positive side, Brodie's set goal kicking is still very good.

Brodie went through this before and re-invented himself. Maybe he can do it again.

That is a pet hate of mine, it really grates me when I see players doing it and Brodie is a consistent offender. If a player who has the ball can see you coming you cannot expect to stop him by bumping, 9 out of 10 times he'll just bounce off still holding it and if he's running at full pace it's see ya later

Brodie is definitely on the ropes now. He's played 1 great game since he has returned and a few other decent, but the majority have been far below par. With such competition for spots, if he doesnt life his output he will be next dropped.

I dont mind him not getting as much of the ball, but his opponents are getting too much of it as well, and as mentioned he is not tackling, just bumping. I doubt he can afford a bad game this week

Zakal, i agree with you, but OB days as a clearancer specialist are numbered. Look at burns and even fraser in term of clearances.

Hope he is re-drafted into the reserves.

Loved watching him play for us.
