I'm sick of the whole saga as I'm sure everyone else is. It really wouldn't kill us if he went and we are compensated.
If i was McGuire, I'd be cutting $10,000 off the contract with each passing week he fails to sign. Make an example of him and the dickhead father.

Yeah lets keep him over our leading goal kicker most weeks...
At the moment we have NO key forwards. Period!
I assume you will also be abusing the all star midfielders all on 750k a year who got smashed tonight? No of course not, blame the only key forward who could mark their shanked kicks...

Could have put us in front tonight, but missed a sitter. Who knows if we could have gone on with it. That kick could have changed the game. Pies should not budge on their offer, 1 million a year? Hahahahaha, dream on you tosser.

If he is solely motivated by getting the biggest pay packet - which he is entitled to do - then he should go and play elsewhere. He will regret it for the rest of his life.
I was wrong. The offer should be $500,000 take it or leave it. Honestly, he ain't no Buddy Franklin.

Exactly. He's not winning games for us - simple as that. Game winners get the big bucks, Cloke is not a game winner. To be honest, I'd rather back end Peter McKenna's contract - he was more deserving.

Definitely not worth what he's asking for. Is he worth more than buddy? No.....And that's what he'll be on if he gets what he's after.

I thought you were supposed to be a Pies supporter Eddie....didn't you mean
"our key forward"?? I've had my suspicions about whether you're truly B & W, given your many negative posts.

shithouse, he has been found out with Lonergan last year. Put a reasonably stong but leaner athletic tall on him and he gets shut down, ie Lonergan, Jameson, Maguire, McEnzie ect

LOL at Cloke being worth as much as Buddy. Franklin is twice the player.

Add young Rance from Richmond to that list as well. He ran off Cloke all night that night to the tune of 30+ possies. Brian Lake too played all over Trav and actually ran off him and scored nearly as many goals.
Cloke has been average this season and only by comparison to Dawes has he been in any way impressive.

There is a clear sign that Cloke's form has dropped off a bit in comparison to last year.
In 2011, Cloke averaged:
Kicks: 13
Marks: 8
Handballs: 3
Disposals: 16
Goals: 2.76
Behinds: 1.92
In 2012, Cloke has averaged so far:
Kicks: 11
Marks: 6
Handballs: 3
Disposals: 13
Goals: 2.38
Behinds: 1.23
So by comparing these basic stats, it is clear that Cloke hasn't had much of an impact in games as compared to 2011. However he hasn't dramatically dropped off the radar either.
The sooner he makes a decision, the better it is for all parties concerned. I just hope he can re-sign and be grateful for what the club can offer him.
