They haven't stopped (and have no intention of stopping) - in fact they spruiked it as a treatment for their virus   #****

Seems the CPC have been lurking around Nick's :P

China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism on Saturday morning advised the public not to travel to Australia due to "an alarming increase" in racial discrimination and violence towards Chinese people in relation to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Chinese government's advice to citizens not to travel to Australia was issued shortly after Prime Minister Scott Morrison revealed a planned overhaul of foreign investment rules with the Foreign Investment Review Board to be given the power to approve all investments in sensitive industries regardless of size. The FIRB currently assesses foreign investment activity worth above $275 million.

And they reckon the timing is pure coincidence. yeah right. Tell their people not to come here, when they can't come anyway cos our border are shut because of their fkn virus.

The CCP has the country on a knifes edge economically, if a few more countries decide they're sick of their shit, they will achieve self sodomy. In that case, i hope the lube was made in China and contains ground glass.

The only way the CCP have legitimacy in the eyes of their citizens is having a strong economy, which is now struggling and was struggling before the virus emerged.

I was pleased to read that Australia and India have strengthened their military ties the other day. Having closer relations with India can only be a positive thing, especially with Australia-China relations becoming strained.

Make up your mind, are they a struggling 3rd world country, or a lying one not taking on the responsibility they should be because they are still crying poor.

Apparently China are not smart enough( to figure out that eating a tiger claw wont give you back your fat, and yet there us some pretty whiz bang technology listed there.

You know "China" isn’t a person, right? How on earth can it be difficult to understand that a country of over a billion people can include both areas with backward superstitions and highly technologically literate groups; a wealthy class and large numbers of impoverished people; competing value systems and interest groups? It’s one thing to caricature a country and its people; it’s another to not even acknowledge the basic complexities of any conceivable nation state.

^Haven't you heard? China is really a giant Duty Free store that houses 1.4B social media celebrities who sip endangered animal bile martinis and drive brown coal-powered Ferraris as One. That's the secret to 30 years of development right there, and the reason why the nation is looking so ruddy in the cheeks these days, even as we slave over pots of molten iron without PPE because 1.4 billion billionaires use PPE for toy poodle diapers on their chartered shopping trips by bullet helicopter from Chengdu to Shanghai built with technology stolen from Elon Musk on a boys' night out in Macau.

No that’s the way you bully boys are taking it. The problem is it’s not a democracy, and the Chinese government don’t give a shit about human life, not even their own peoples. They managed to use tanks to run over their own people once, maybe they could use them to Demolish the wet markets in stead.

But I’ll leave the tag team to you, I know what I believe, and I know I’m not racist you can think what ever you want.

Get over yourself David, apart from the population numbers you just described most countries there.

China had a developed civilisation and culture, including sciences and the arts from if not prior to what we call "ancient Greece" then from the same time, from before when the English and Scots were throwing rocks at Romans.

They've been trading with the western world for centuries if not milennia, they have the worlds second largest economy, spend billions of dollars in genuine developing countries with "debt trap diplomacy" to tie up strategic control of assets and nations, yet apparently they are a "developing nation." Really?

The USA probably has hillbillies in the Appalachian mountains who believe that fricasseed cougar testicles increase the size of your wang, but none of the levels of government actively encourage that crap by lobbying the WHO .

Take your un-warrented self righteousness, roll it into a tight tube and shove it straight up your own colon.

This is a country that cares for it's own people by running them over with Tanks when they protest, that has the great firewall of chine to ensure they control all media, social included, who are so consumed with that control that they act punitively against any country who doesn't follow their tight script of kissing their arse and fire insults at them through their state controlled media.

Yeah, they've lifted millions out of the poverty that they themselves created . Wow, lets give them a medal, or maybe wait until they introduce some basic levels of human rights in their own country instead of letting just enough people get wealthy enough that they can exploit them together and stay in charge.

I don't know about Appalachia - but there is one of those in the White House, so you could be onto something.
