Personally I think th only reason we would be considering Kruezer is if we are losing Witts as part of the Treloar deal to give us some depth.
Apparently Carlton are bulking at his asking price (according to rumours over $500k a season)
Last night on AFL 360 his stats are horrible
Played 113 games missed 69 that's 3 full seasons.
Have never kicked more than 13 goals in a season and has never averages more than 16 possessions a game in a single season.
King went on about him being way over hyped
Said he was a modest performer with huge injury problems
King said not worth anywhere near his asking price and Carlton were right to bulk at it until he can play week in week out and contribute meaningfully.
At best I would give him $300k not a penny more unless he plays minimum 20 games a season
Would rather look to someone like Lobe from Port who is apparently going to be on the trade table so they can bring Dixon in. Love was huge in 2014 found it tough in 2015 with Ryder coming in
Isn't injury prone and is a quality tap ruck man

I was in the "get him" camp for a while then come to terms with there is probably a lot better out there we could get for cheaper.

It also my be I don't want Collingwood over inflating this guys salary and hand Carlton pick 2. I can't live with that...

Guess his stats are not great due to injuries.

Coming into his prime as a ruckman, so if he gets a good run at it, then could be a bargain.

Grew up a mad Pies supporter.

Named, surprisingly, I thought in Carltons 100 best all time players.

Biggest plus is we do not have to give up anything for him to get him.

Carlton getting pick 2 is the biggest downside.

Giving up a load of salary cap room.
And it looks like a promising young ruck is also going.

Not a fan of the cruze but the bolded and underlined is misleading, a promising young ruck may or may not be going BUT that would be in the TRELOR deal and not the CRUZE deal - if one happens.

Exactly. Witts may be required to go to get Treloar deal done, whereas Kreuzer is not costing us anything in a trade.

The worst thing about this, if it happens, is I will have egg on my face after tormenting my Carlton acquaintances that Kreuzer is a poor mans Josh Fraser😄

There are a few rucks available this year, so if we are looking to replace Witts it's a good time to do it. Kruezer probably fits our needs best if he can stay fit.

Why don't we target Matthew Leuenberger, He is also eligible for free agency and is much more durable than Kruezer.

Actually he is just as injury prone. Has missed a hell of a lot of footy over the years.

Has missed quite a bit, a year older and played 10 less games than K. Is also less of a forward than Kreuzer, not sure he will work too well with Grundy.
