This game is all about developing a premiership midfield.
Agreed, but the Cats can add Corey, Rooke and Ottens. They've still got a couple of aces up their sleeves yet.

If we lose tonight, we'll actually learn a lot more and be under less pressure than if we win. The main thing is we don't get pumped.
Piper how is Mr Wonderful going man?

I think this says far more about you underrating our players than MM dude.... All three played really well against Freo last week. :!:

Never disperse your focus unless absolutely necessary. Face one adversary at a time!

I was referring to the potential for change and development; Corey, Rooke and Ottens offer no variation on what has been long known. We are still in a state of substantial flux and maturation. Podsiadly is the only new element to their side, which of course is no criticism given how good they are.
In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

It can only be Podsiadly.

I'm not expecting to win tonight.
And I think I prefer us to be still considered "chasers" rather than "May Premiers".
Besides, I much prefer us to beat them on August 7th.

Well, hasn't this match been over-hyped. You'd think it was a final. A big game certainly, but far from the be all and end all.

A close loss is our best result tonight.

The last two seasons:
- Saints beat Cats, lost GF
- Cats beat Hawks, lost GF

I'm tipping the Cats by 22.
Well done boys!

Not sure if its been mentioned amongst all these comments but last time Pies v Cats as 1v2 was 1952. Cats won and went on to win flag against Collingwood. Of course, the Pies beat the Cats in the GF the following year.
