They both have legs & feet made of sawdust. We should get a mannequin that would be more reliable.

Kreuzer has 1 season that is only slightly statistically better than Grundy's 2015 season. I don't understand this recruitment if it goes through. Most goals he's ever kicked in a season 13!

POISON!! Dont go near it. Kill it with fire NOW!!

Too injury prone and apart from flashes of good play, hasnt done enough over his career to justify the $$$ and the filthy bastards from royal park getting pick 2 as compensation.

Would rather we invest in convincing Danger that we are a better option than the cats.

Does Kreuzer net Carlton pick 2 with no finishes in the Top 5 in the B&F since 2009, no AA gongs etc?
Depends upon how generous the AFL wish to be I suppose.

Happy to pay $600K for Krezuer!........... TO STAY AT CARLTON!
[So they don't collect picks 1 & 2]

Doubt they get that with Lions at the Moment holding Pick 2

I remember people bashing the Varcoe Signing last year and now they changed there Tune

Let's look at the big picture....

Treloar and Kruezer for a first round pick and Witts.

The only issue is we are spending $1.35million on the two players.

Kruezer is coming into his prime. He is one of only a few ruckmen who chnage the direction of a game and let's face it is has been playing with spuds for most of his career.

Well then Kruezer should fit right at home with us then!

I don't agree with getting rid of Witts, if we do, something tells me we're gonna regret doing so, we've put so much work into him...

IMO Kruz is a excellent player when fit. Can clearly win hitouts. Very good overhead mark. solid field kick and kick for goal. Very mobile for a big man and is pretty hard at it in the air and at ground level.

He simply gets injured and off the park for substantial periods of the season.

He will be an immediate list improvement, IF he is fit. And the "IF fit" part is the downside of the gamble in his recruitment.

The major upside is that if he does get continuity with his footy (which he never really had previously), he could be a top 50 league player. He has never arrived at his potential IMO.

I think he is worth the punt. Especially, if it means the Witts part of the Treloar trade satisfies GWS. It appears a great coup to me.

The free agency of Kruz reall means

Kruz for Witts
Trealor for Pick 7 or 8

That has "Bargin", written all over it!

I wrote in the Wittsy thread that I think he will be part of a 3 way deal in the Treloar trade. Can be the only reason we would go after Kreuser.

This is a tough one, it could be Daisy in reverse and we fork out $600,000 a season for it. But then again you think of the time we passed up Stevie J when he failed a medical.
