Like Seedsman and Karnezis? I'm over caring about their "connections" to the Club. I just want them to be able to play footy. That goes for Daicos and Brown, too.

Does anyone know how he didn't get a game ahead of Rhys Palmer in the prelim? I understand why he'd be behind Stevie J in the pecking order but Palmer just looked slow and useless in that game - WHE looks quick and very, very dangerous in the limited footage I've seen.

Experienced player out, experienced player in, is what I think their reasoning would have been.

Selection error for mine, as they ended up effectively playing one short because Palmer was so ineffectual. They should have rolled the dice with WHE, as a moment or two of brilliance from him would have resulted in a GF appearance and a flag. Good result for us, as this probably helped his decision to leave GWS.

Hadn't played a senior game since round 2 and probably known to be on the way out.

Yep. This. Palmer was in career best form a year ago. Became a dangerous goal kicker. Played much if 2016. Hot injured or dropped after the game vs us, then couldn't get back in. Was atrocious in the prelim, mostly due to the time out I would've thought. To becket go for nothingness surprising. WHE was never going to be recalled.

...bouncing twice, a chain of handballs to Treloar to Adams to Moore before WHE goes bang from 35.....from the boundary, if you don't mind. Pies push the margin past 10 goals against the reigning premiers...and it's not even quarter time!

Great kick.
But I worry about him.
Seems to lack either confidence or mongrel.
Not sure of which.
we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest.

Watching his interview on fox just now, I'd say he lacks confidence... softly spoken and very shy during that interview!

Yeah but he can:

* run
* kick
* mark
* is accurate

Many of our foot soldiers aren't!
