Seriously, if Cloke goes to Carlton, he should NEVER be welcome back to Collingwood for the rest of his life.

Eddies's suck-fest with Sticks Kernahan last week on EMT was the last straw for me. Collingwood have always been too soft. You think Carlton would have hug a love-in with our President on the eve of our match if we were struggling? No way, they would've sunk the boot in.

And that is why they lift for us, while we're happy to continually have our pants pulled down.

Easy. Pay him $700,000 a year for four years. Add an incentive to his contract: for every goal over 50 in a season he gets $5000. If he kicks 70 goals like last year his salary for a year is $800,000. If he kicks 100 goals he gets $950,000.

That should straighten up his kicking. If it doesn't then we don't lose out.

It says that Cloke met with Carlton, if true, we have to make him one final offer and leave it at that.

If they have offered him 1m a year for 5 years and Judd is on 1m per year that is just under 25% of the salary cap for 2 players - not very astute.

Pies should offer him a back loaded contract so he gets the bigger paydays when he hist the Vets list.

Loyalty is a 2 way street - make him an offer and if they still don't like it - take it off the table and let him walk.

Spend the extra money on the loyal players.

No one begrudges him getting a good contract but he needs to sit back and think about the situation. Swanny, Pendles and Daisy all could have earned more at other clubs yet they stayed put and playing for less. What makes Cloke so much more special than those three? Nothing. In fact, I rate the three more important to Collingwood.

If he seriously wants to use Carlton as a bargaining tool than he can **** right off as far as I'm concerned.

Even suggesting such a thing is a *&^*(&%$% disgrace and quite frankly I've had enough of this bullshit.
