Yep, people forget this is the first delta outbreak in Australia.

Victoria had delta cases but was already in lockdown when they emerged. NT chose to lockdown immediately because theirs looked bad with it being in a mine. QLD exported it to the NT, SA and NSW but got lucky it didn’t go too far in their community with a variety of strains circulating in QLD. WA massively overreacted as usual with one case.

The fact is the people of NSW have been able to live without the threat of imminent lockdowns for over 14 months because their government can usually control these outbreaks without resorting to lockdown.

So yes so many people are taking pleasure in it now, but where’d you rather be the last 14 months? Definitely not Victoria!!! Even now at least Regional NSW is t suffering for something that’s confined to metro Sydney. Yet still you have people who think the entire state needs to be locked down in a Dan style curfew and movement limits lockdown…

54 Covid deaths in NSW, 820 in Victoria.

That doesn't support your statement.

50 new cases overnight in NSW, most of them family contacts. 37of them had been loose in the community.

47 people in hospital, including a 16 year old in ICU which would surely tickle WPT's funny bone even further.

Police issued 167 infringement notices to people breaching public health orders yesterday.

Going to get worse before it gets better.

8 months ago Scotty was offered a shit load of Pfizer (enough to cover our population)

Of course we all know he said “It’s not a race” and opted to go slow and as we know placed all his eggs in the Astra Zeneca.

His judgement here as well as in a lot of other areas is seriously poor for a national leader.

Helps to not talk shit and contradict what your own article says...

Pfizer says it was responsible for proposing the 10m figure.

“Our discussions are confidential, however the supply of vaccine in Australia was developed following consultation with the Australian government and each agreement was based on the availability of doses and earliest schedule that could be provided at that time,” it told a Senate inquiry.

And

The government denies that it failed to build up a broad portfolio of vaccines, saying it secured five agreements that would provide 195m doses combined.

Oh dear,

We had the chance to secure a lot more Pfizer (let alone other drugs) and we blew it. Scotty told us “it’s not a race” Scotty also told us NSW is the gold standard. Not looking too flash now.

Oh dear indeed, your own article said Pfizer only offered up 10m doses when the deal was made 8 months ago...

No one other than your dear ABC spin doctor has ever confirmed his rubbish claim about Australia being offered hundreds of millions of doses to be the guinea pigs for Pfizer in that initial meeting...

Fact is your favourite 'expert' lost any remaining credibility he had when he told us all NSW would face Armageddon if they didn't lockdown over Christmas and he was proven wrong yet again.

Then he has the gall to say the best CHO in Australia is the one who presided over the biggest **** up of them all and has had to resort to the most lockdowns, the longest lockdowns, the toughest restrictions and shutting out all international travelers for most of the year to cover up his departments incompetence.

Meanwhile NSW took in more people and more risk than the rest of the country combined and are still about 15,000 cases behind your hero...
