Not as ahysterical as the ONS data itself, though: I do like how he gives a "teaser" for something "he's been working on". True enough from a certain POV, but from another POV he's referring to things that others have no doubt "worked on" for months, building on however long a history of research:

Phylogenetic chart in Wikipedia published in Dec by an open-source research collab org Netxstrain: Original mouse origins paper published in Dec in the Journal of Genetics and Genomics:
In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

Never experienced laying back with your mouth open for an hour while 2 women take turns filling your mouth with an assortment of various implements?

A root canal can be ordinary as well.

Exactly. More than half of the numbers are RATS that are being reported for the first time. Anyone interesting in reporting numbers accurately will say this.

Good work Dave on all counts.

Work on a healthy eating plan that works for you and that you can maintain and it becomes a lifestyle, not a diet. Best advice I got was to avoid snacks, sugar and starchy carbs and eat plenty of veges and good fats like Olives, Avo's and eggs. Eat well and get moderate exercise and the weight will look after itself.

On Covid, I went to Northland today to get a birthday present for my daughter. I have never seen the place so quiet on a Saturday, ever. Seems people are isolating whether voluntarily or involuntarily. Also called into Woollies and Dans, mask compliance is right up and people are using trolley wipes again.
