Well if he's chasing easy dollar$, and a gimme-spot in the team, and has no intention of playing finals again, then Brisvegas is the place to be...Raw Hammer wrote:Rumour is that he's considering Bris as a destination option. Good. Chase Fufe in 12 months.

Well chief, let's hope 2017 ensures everybody buys-in to earn their dollars and their spots in the 22, and come the end of round 23, we might sneak into 7th or 8th spot. If we don't, then we all know what the fall-out will be...Raw Hammer wrote:Easy dollars, a gimme spot, and no finals...You sure you don't mean Collingwoodpiedys wrote:Well if he's chasing easy dollar$, and a gimme-spot in the team, and has no intention of playing finals again, then Brisvegas is the place to be...Raw Hammer wrote:Rumour is that he's considering Bris as a destination option. I haven't read the rest of this thread, so apologies if this has been said...
The Pies chasing Mayne hard says more about Elliot and his future and our need therefore to have experienced goal kicking forward as a backup replacement should we lose both Cloke and (possibly) Elliot.
Who would we have left: Moore, White and Fasolo as the main targets and a squad of midgets who can't get front and centre to save themselves.

I think it has more to do with forward line pressure than anything else. Mayne is competition for Blair, thank christ!Stinger wrote:I haven't read the rest of this thread, so apologies if this has been said...

He had to play as the second tall forward behind Pavlich at Freo, which he is obviously too small for.
With us, he will be the 5th forward behind Moore, Cox/White, Fasolo, and Elliott. He will be very dangerous in this role.
Also, his defensive pressure is elite and it could be argued it is the best in the comp. Defensive pressure and keeping the ball inside forward 50 were two of the things that we were very bad at in 2016 and he will assist us greatly in rectifying this.
His goal kicking used to be sensational, but has dropped off recently. Hopefully, a new environment results in his accuracy improving.

So don't expect anything to Happen Tommorow.Mayne is understood to have been offered a four-year deal worth more than $500,000 a season to join Collingwood, but some of the finer points in that deal still have to be resolved.
I dare say give some Few Hopes that Deal could still Fall Over

Dpn't like this player at all. In none of those clips is he running fast, jumping high, kicking on the run at speed, using vision, or showing good decision-making. What the hell are they thinking down there? He doesn't even have a good kicking action. Seriously are we that dumb as a club? Bucks, you need to put the stat sheet away and get a grip.
