Don't think you could have all of Jolly, Fraser, Cloke, L.Brown and Dawes.

That would make us more top heavy than last week would it not?

If Dawes doesn't play in the VFL then an underdone Fraser is the most likely omission IMO.

Lockyer will replace Medhurst if he misses.

It's actually not that different to round 1 swoop. Just substitute Anthony for Dawes. Anthony may be smaller than Dawes but he's been trying to play like he's Godzilla. ba-bow.

Not as bad as last week, as L.Brown and Fraser both have the capability of playing further up the ground.

Wouldn't be my choice to play all of those together, I think we'd have a better team if Dawes stayed out. But it would have more chance of working than last week's team. For one thing, we'd have a legitimate second ruck.

I'd have Dawes in and one of L.Brown or Fraser as second ruck. However, if Dawes is not playing, and I don't think it an overly hash selection, I'd still be happy with the selected team. The mix is about right, and getting close to our best 22.
Well done boys!

I dont think there ever would have been one if Dawes was not spoken of by so many as the mesiah at FF...another Buddy Franklin etc.

If the case was true we would all be singing his praises.

Fact is Dawes has not lived up to the hype thrown upon him by some people

Lets hope he does develop into a really great player for us... time will tell and its all up to Chris to show us what he has and what he can be.

mick forewarned there would be a number of changes in the weeks heading into the mid season break. i understand how easy it is for something like that to get lost in the incessant desire to pot both coach and players.

i don't think awes' ommission is a form issue, more so a player management decision. our supposed depth should allow us to seamlessly interchange players of similar builds and functions.

Interesting that on the CFC site our entire bench is named to play in the VFL!!!???

This is not the norm. Usually the emergencies are named but not the bench!

The old fox is up to his foxing best.

We still may not know who will line up on Sunday until 90 min before game time if all changes do not play in VFL!

Having thunk it through it is the norm for the bench to be named in the VFL if we are playing a Sunday game as the VFL side is named on a Thursday....der.

The old fox is only foxing until the VFL play today.

I know Wood's been horrible (agree with omission) but really can't see how Josh has earned a recall? With Leroy coming in (deserves another chance) against the doggies I would've been happy with one recognised ruck and retaining Dawes.

yeh but leigh has a history of ripping it apart when he comes back from being dropped, only to drop off in form after 2-3 consecutive games

i think he's gonna be vital in the win this sunday.

Good point, Kingswood - maybe we should save him for the grand final.
