People are f*&king shit. All people do is try to avoid being inconvenienced.

She needs to get tough and just lock the f*&k down. All of NSW, no exception.
Sadly that is the Generation coming Thru is.

Settle down, she managed to control stuff up until now. The Delta strain is clearly harder and more challenging, hence she's beefed up the existing lockdown but focused mostly on where all the cases are. Locking down the entire state is just fkn ridiculous

So while people in Wodonga, Horsham, Sale and Mildura have their businesses closed and liberties curtailed for zero valid reason, you'd do the same to people on the NSW side of the Murray? Why? So they can experience being Victorian?

I am referring to this......

https://www.news.com.au/national/nsw-ac ... d7b479dae9

Trusting people has lead to the spread to Victoria, QLD, and now potentially rural NSW.

And her decisions thusfar have either been dictated by hubris....she thought she was genuinely that good at containment or she is nothing more than a puppet for PM Scott Berijiklian.

Yes Dave.

We all pick and chose which rules we want to follow. Most due to not being inconvenienced.

Her less authoritarian system has worked fine, no reason to ditch it, just be flexible.

Qld has been impacted by it's won issues but has been doing more NSW than Vic in lockdown, targetted LGA's rather than whole state rubbish.
IIRC once the removalists trail thru rural NSW was uncovered, people were contacted and told to isolate.

You'd have to wonder why Victorians seem so much more susceptible to the virus than people in other states. Has spending so much time with limited people contact, constant use of hand sanitiser etc lowered our natural immunity? FFS of the 3 removalists, only 2 are positive still? Is the 3rd bloke Kryptonian?

Yeah locking down towns hundreds of kilometres away from the virus is a great policy that only Dan thinks of…

Even Annastacia doesn’t go that extreme or the crazy dude over in the west. Only Dan because he thinks if we don’t lockdown regional Victorians then Melburnians will escape their prison cells…

Statewide lockdowns are reserved for incompetent health departments and governments so guess that’s why Victoria is the only place that does it.

Then "crazy dude over in the West" whose policies on COVID were so well liked that he was re-elected by a landslide on about a 20% swing, with only around 3 opposition members left in Parliament? That crazy dude?

Might have been in the other truck, but the apartment block also had links to Coles Cragieburn where the returning family went so maybe they’ve got it ass about or they simply prefer to blame the removalists from NSW instead of a poor Victorian family.

Yeah the one who locks down over one single case and shuts his borders as soon as another state has one case. But no one outside of Perth and peel region has been inconvenienced by his sudden lockdowns

But then again regional Victorians who are being unfairly subjected to these regular lockdowns would never vote for him anyway. It’s only Geelong which is ALP heartland that keeps getting cases and his sole excuse for locking down the entire state because he could lockdown Mitchell Shire with Melbourne but subjecting Geelong to tough restrictions wouldn’t sit well with the minister for incompetence.

I thought we'd already long established that WA people are different and that popular politics doesn't make them right. The USA elected Trump didn't they?

Not 85% to 15% they didn't.

I should make clear I don't much like the WA Premier - but if we're going to start calling people "crazy" over their handling of the pandemic, we probably shouldn't do it about leaders whose approach is so widely supported.
