Maybe they should publish a daily death count of people dying of heart disease. More people might eat less crap and get more exercise.

It's from More Cases and Less Nurses and Doctors as I say a fair few will need to go into Isolation from being a Close Contact or Actually have Covid.

Everyone knew that despite repeated denials by the Andrews apologists. He was even health minister so has had control over health in this state for 12 of the last 16 years and it’s a disaster. It’s why he had to chase Covid zero, much like McGowan in WA. But health isn’t an easy sell as it’s not something people see until they’re sick.

It’s like funding of fire services, get a nice boost when there’s a big bushfire but are severely underfunded most of the time. Before this health never had that big visible disaster to make funding them popular.

We've had over 1.8 million recoveries reported. Given we reached 1.8 million cases on Jan 17, we can probably assume that cases from the past 16 days are pending an outcome.

That means we'll see, at most, 1,100 deaths over the next 16 days based on the 800,000 cases in past 16 period, which averages 70 a day. Then, every 10,000 new cases reported will probably lead to about 10 deaths.

As the unvaccinated become more and more naturally immune, we'll start to see the disease being one of the vaccinated.

My son now has it, tested positive Saturday. Was crook for a couple of days prior to that but thought it was gastro . Tested negative at work then his GF started struggling to breath, went to hospital and tested positive so he did another test and bingo.

He's on the improve, just fatigue now, planning to rest up for this week and back to work Monday.

Daughter and her partner are out of Isolation as of tonight so the Grandson can start school tomorrow.
