Perhaps the most incredibly non factual comment that I have ever seen... except when I saw Donald Trump claim that drinking bleach would be a cure for covid.

Regardless of the outcome of Jordy's court case, he needs to come to grips with the fact that he is one person who should not drink at all. Some people get jolly when they've had a few, but others seem to get agro and troublesome. Unfortunately, Jordy's track record suggests he's in the latter group. However you don’t drive a car after you’ve had a few drinks and you have a propensity to lose control of your actions after you’ve had a few drinks when you’re in a crowded room and someone heckles you. Unfortunately JDG has a history of doing the wrong thing after he’s had a few drinks. So the remedy is simple. He can stop drinking altogether, he can start avoiding the company he chooses to have when he’s drinking, or he can learn to control his drinking to a point where he can avoid the situations he has found himself in the past. It’s his choice, but it has to be one of those three choices if he wishes to continue his football career. If he wants to continue enjoying a drink and having a good time and continue to occasionally lose it to a point where the police are called in, that’s his business. He just won’t have a football career.

We have a bloke at work, he's the only WA state 18's captain not to be drafted. He's a great bloke, but chose the party life over a football career. He was spotted by AFL talent scouts out on the piss the night before the 18's final. He played WAFL for Peel then country footy ($1200/game) with his mates. Could have easily played at AFL level... I've seen 100's who could have.
JDG has the world at his feet, whether he embraces it, or kicks it down the road is up to him, but he's on very thin ice at the moment.

You are sometimes a logical bloke! Every Australian has a right to drink however there is no such thing as having a right without a corresponding responsibility and accountability. For example you have the right to drink but it is irresponsible of you to work or illegal to drive while intoxicated. How so? Regardless of the outcome of this trial, JDG has proven that alcohol is not something he should be partaking in. He's been in more trouble than Ned Kelly when intoxicated... why would anyone's opinion, regarding his behaviour change?

As a reformed alcohol abuser myself (haven't had a drink in almost 2 years) I know exactly the damage that can be done when under the influence. I'm a slow learner, it took me until 52 years of age to work it out.
JDG has all the support around him to act a bit swifter... and a career at stake.

I wish him all the best and would love to see him continue playing and dominating games, like we all know he can. It's up to him which path he chooses.
