If anything I have been the one pushing Brayden, I watched him captain Vic Metro. He is good, just unlucky with injuries. His time will come and I hope it's sooner rather than later.

Exclusive to afl.com.au

The 2005 season has been a very different experience for Collingwood ruckman Josh Fraser.

After playing 108 matches for the Pies over five seasons - including two grand final appearances - the 1999 no.1 draft pick was cut down by a persistent knee injury this year, restricted to just five games as the injury-hit Magpies managed just five wins............

A fit Fraser, Buckley, Tarrant, Rocca, Licuria.....not a bad start. 2006 won't be all that bad with our best side on the park.

Who is Josh Fraser?

Most know my position on josh fraser. I believe we should trade him as he is very valuable and would attract a star player.

However, we really need josh to get back to his best in 06. If he can, then we will be 100% better. If he cant, im afraid players like Richards, Fanning, Rusling, T Cloke, C Cloke, J Cloke may pop in front of him in the pecking order. Im not disputing his talent, but next year is amazingly big for josh fraser. Im sure he will come through.

Ahh Dave, I find your stance on Fraser amusing, especially with those unproven players you listed as potential ahead of him in the pecking order, always good for a laugh. Josh on the other hand has proven he can perform, even on grand final day - was in our top 5 players in the 2002 and 2003 GF.

Fraser is our 2nd most important player after Rocca. He can be a star if he gets himself fit and firing again. Really hope 2006 is a good year for Josh.

Dave, Fraser was the number one draft selection for a reason. The guy is a talent, and has his year destroyed by injury. He barely had a chance to do anything of value on the field. Along with Rocca, Taz and Richards, he will be our number one draft pick for 2006. If Richards can perform in the ruck, there is no reason why Fraser won't star as the fourth tall forward, with Tarrant, Rocca and T.Cloke getting their share of quallity defenders.

Dave, Fraser has skills is tall etc etc, given the lack of skills in our team why on earth would we trade him. Can't the poor bloke get injured. He played 108 games in 5 years!!!
