After all the shit that has gone down at Collingwood this year, we need some good news to lift our spirits. Benny is not a messiah, just a naughty boy, but one who is arguably the best midfielder in the game. It would be an amazing pick up if we can get him via the pre-season draft. We won't know for sure until December, but if he names us as his preferred club then we're in the box seat.

I hope he ends up in Black & White, but I am fearful because even if he names us as his preferred option, I can see Caaaarlton picking him in the PSD just to stick it up us.
Wherever he ends up I have no doubt that he will be a superstar again - he is only 30 and Bucks was 31 when he won his Brownlow, so there is life left in Cousins I reckon

On Before the Game they said that on Channel 7 they will have
news on Cousins and his preferred club.
all indications are it is going to be Collingwood.
However all it is, is an announcement of who he'd like to play for.
doesn't mean he's signed or that he has even been cleared by the AFL.
a step in the right direction but a long long way to go.
