I have been trying very hard for several months to maintain a grown-up response to the departure of one Darth Thomas.

I've had countless arguments about it, had my passion questioned and my sanity derided.

Just wanted to say, at this juncture, that I was wrong.

His choice of jumper number (39) at his new club has nothing to do with Warwick fricken Capper.

It is a poked finger in Bucks' eye. It is a reminder that he wasn't the only very good player we lost at the end of last year.

It is the act of a shit bloke.

So eff you, Darth, eff you and the coach you rode out on.

I wash my hands of you but nothing will ever wash you clean now that you are a filthy bluebagger.

Scum.

Don't get too concerned about this: he's survived one practice match, presumably running at below full-pace. The issue for him (and the Blooz) is not whether he starts the season fit but whether he stays fit and, if so, for how many weeks, finals and seasons.

As for the number - why does it matter that he wants to dress up as Ang Christou?

Scumbaggers got rolled by the Crows.
Maybe in time we could merge this thread with the 'Sack the Coach' one.
It may not be too long away for MM........
