Stevens wants to leave, is leaving, and Williams demands not only a player of equal calibre, but a first round pick on top of that.
And if Carlton, against their 'new philosophy' of not trading picks away, especially regarding the current situation, trade pick 2 for Stevens and offer $500,000 a year, the Blues faithful will go right off. Stevens is not worth antwhere near that much, and at a team like Carlton, he will get so much attention because he has no support around him that I can see him being the next Camporeale all too quickly.
