I can change the format of the board so that the last post appears first, which is, I think, what you are asking for.
We originally made the layout first first, last last, so that the flow of the topic could be seen easily, but I agree that a long thread such as this one, that has been active over an extended period, gets very tedious when you're continually scrolling past the same messages to get to the new stuff.
We've never been very successful when asking for feedback on things like this so I'll make the change and wait for objections instead.
