Sorry...as a newbie to this Forum didn't realise that one can't edit posts after posting (even though this is mentioned!)

Jeff Clifton was a very successful architect and businessman post-football.

Refer to this excerpt from the St Vincents Institute where Mr Clifton was a Board Member and where I obtained photo from:-

" Mr Clifton is currently the Managing Director of Clifton Property Group, which consists of a development management group, Clifton Hall Consulting and a project management group, CBM Project Management. Both companies serve the Australian property industry and Mr Clifton has been in the property industry for over 35 years. Mr Clifton was formerly Executive Chairman of Farsands and Managing Director of the Clifton Coney Group, which are now part of Coffey International following a sale of the business. Mr Clifton is also a Director of OIML Pty Ltd, the responsible entity of the Timbercorp Primary Infrastructure Fund"

A sad loss both to the Collingwood community and the wider business community.

He left his mark and will be remembered.

RIP Jeff Clifton

Thanks mate. That's exactly the sort of information I'm seeking about the 1970 grand final side on this thread.

What ever you do keep the Doctor away from the Game Over jacket then.

At least until after the second date.

Make sure you do Joffa. My father was diagnosed earlier this year with prostate cancer. Had they picked it up sooner, it would have been treatable, unfortunately now he has secondaries in his bones. All males over 40 should have an annual test. It doesn't get as much air time as Pink Ribbon support for the very worthy breast cancer awareness for females, but we all need to raise the profile of mens health issues, especially prostate cancer
