Reasons:
Any Others?
- Mick Not Changing to Man on Man when the Zone was getting Destroyed
- Playing too many Talls
- Too Slow Side. Get O'Bree out of the Side
- N Brown should of played instead of Ben Reid
- Defense who Leak to many Goals
- Midfield getting Flogged
- Not Heavy Tag Black or Power

Johnson and O' Bree have been butchering the ball like that for nigh on a decade, why should Luke Ball doing likewise cause any extra angst?Dave The Man wrote:Guys we are Pretenders.
Keep Playing Like That we be Lucky to win again this Season.
Ball Kicking is Coming a Real Worry for me
Of course were pretenders,as if it would be any different with the same gray haired, stubborn, myopic coach in charge.
We're still as far away from a flag now as we were when he took over.

Yep and our So Called Great Coach did not even make an effort to changewoftam wrote:I agree with DTM's original post.
We never change anything even when it's obvious our zone is being smashed. Please elevate Blair & maybe someone besides Ball can win a hardball get at a centre clearance. If we had played man on man we would have smashed them, but instead we handed the game to them on a platter by letting them kick to each other without a contest. Several times from one end of the ground to the other.

When we McGuire stand up and take repsonsibility for 11 years of on field failure under his Presidency? How can anyone keep a top job when we perform so unpredictably and poorly without any rationale? I have had it with this Board. They make the appointments and we collapse every year for no apparent reason. I am not blaming players here. I think we have a complete club culture failure.
I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for.

Agree we are Still long way from the Flag and Still Pretending we canMillane42 wrote:PRETENDERS!!!!!
We just can't win at the gabba and we always struggle against the Lions. Mentally we are stuffed against them. 3 wins there in 20 years.
Pathetic effort Pies, absolutely gutless. Games like that show the reason why Collingwood will never win a premiership in our lifetime.

Can someone please clarify for me that when we were tackled with the ball, the morons called holding the ball but when the Cheats were caught it was play on?
Also, the idiot who did not pay Jack's mark in front of goal in the final qtr should be stood down for next week. Completely changed the momntum as we were peppering the goals.
Nt happy Jan

Look at the Stats:
Collingwood v Lions:
Played 22 Won 6 Lost 16.
At the Gabba Played 11 Won 2 Lost 9.
Pathetic! Carlton and West Coast also have better win-loss ratios against us.
We are a joke of a team. I sometimes wonder why I spend so much time and money, they are just such a club of pretenders, they always get talked up but never deliver. Disappointing and gutless.
Cam Wood should never play for Collingwood again.

Most of my favourite bands start with "M" - Mars Volta, Mastodon, Megadeth, Metallica, Midnight Oil, Misfits...except King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard ~

Wellingham doesn't seem fit, The Game had a lot of similarities to the Cats game. Shocking disposal into the forward zone. missing easy goals, no poise and flat Jack. There was about 8 players who could hold their heads up high the rest should walk back to Melbourne and reflect on guts and determination
we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest.

yeah, I'm there with you. Sometimes we lose and I'm ready to seriously break things. Tonight, not so much. I'm annoyed but not shattered.jmcp wrote:i feel strangely indifferent about the whole thing. not worth reading the drivel that is going to be spewed by the usual suspects. i trust they'll revel in it.mandy wrote:Dragme wrote:Can't comment.
It's not worth it.
and for lazza and co who had pregame anxieties about the game, your fears have been proven. sh|t happens.
It's not the half way mark of the season yet, much as I'd like to win every game by 60+ points each week, that's not happening. We've had a good run and lost 1 (now 2) and the bears had a bad run but were better than that as they showed tonight.
this season is SNAFU.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

How is he supposed to when the kicks to him are absolute garbage!! Any time he has a one-on-one he is unstoppable! you obviously are stevie wonder, blind as a bat if you can't see that (rhyme intended)steviewonder36 wrote: I dont rate Cloke like other supporters do, I think some of you overrate him. To be honest, I wouldn't be too concerned if he didn't take up a new contract.
