Would need to force Elliott, Fasolo, or Blair out. Can't see it happening.

I can see Blair getting a spell.

I was all for him, now I think he needs a rest.

I don't think we can take Melbourne too lightly. We're going to have some injuries and suspensions next week and Melbourne are playing some good footy.
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeey, we want some Bayley!

I reckon Blair has to play against the Dees. One of our hardest at the ball. Will be needed.

^^Would you start Adams and Ball together, or would one be the sub?

I know many people want Adams dropped to make way for Ball. This would be retrograde imo. Adams played OK last night, and will only get better as his confidence grows with senior games under his belt. FWIW, I thought he played a better game than Blair, Toovey or Goldsack.
I'd like to see Broomhead replace Sidey over Kennedy. Been playing some really solid footy in the twos. He deserves a debut imo.

After the fight Melbourne put up yesterday, I'd much rather we were playing Carlton or Richmond to be honest. QB has always been a danger game for us and this year will be no different.

Under Roos the Dees are back to playing footy.

oh my, we must be the only club that has a danger game every week. Are we the Austin Powers of the AFL?

This game is a danger as we have shown recently that when out under the pump and continued pressure we don't play well.
We need to be really focused or we could easily be caught with our pants down.
They are not the most skillful side but they are turning up every week of late.
Composure and skills will be needed for us to prevail.

If we play to our capabilities we should win by 4-5 goals

If we are off then it's dangerous.

Might need to allow for White to miss with an apparent broken finger as well. That might change your thinking....
Yeah, heard about White this morning, hopefully he'll be OK, not sure who would replace him.

He'll need to get Adams back into the senior team for it to be an issue. Brave to take on the Dees with only 17 players, now that's hubris.

Out Maxy Inj Sidey susp whoever else is injured
In Swan if available Grundy if White is injured

Ball could come in but happy to give him another weeks rest
Will not drop Witts while question marks over White and Grundy

Would consider giving Adams another week to find out if his poor disposal was form or nerves
Dwyer available

Final selection should be based on injuries.

If White is out, then we keep Witts and bring back Grundy.
