Positives >>>>>>>>>>> negatives in that game.

Focus on the inaccurate kicking and the loss of the game if you want. The real story from this game is that we were better than the Hawks. We didn't just hang on or get lucky, we convincingly outplayed them both in close and even with our ball use. We are a top 4 chance and with continued improvement some chance of going all the way. This was one of the best performances we've had in the last 4 years, hands down.

This following on from last week when we outplayed the Dockers for almost the entire game. We're not expected to be this good yet and with a young team we will be even better by year's end, who knows how far we can take it.

I'm excited!
Well done boys!

Of course they will. All these bloody teams facing the hammer always seem to come up against us and what more motivation does one need than playing against us.

We're to start
If we ever learn how to kick we will be near unbeatable
Our pressure tackling is superb
Some times effort doesn't = reward and tonight proves that
Be sure of one thing we don't lose tonight we beat ourselves
We outplayed them for the majority of the night
They were gifted 6 goals
If I see mictchell and alike continually hold the man after a mark or a free without getting pinged I'll deadset scream
Plenty of positives tonight
Sidey back near his best except that damn not disposing of it but still his best game of the year
Everyone one knows I was the biggest Beams fan but hell this boy Crisp is a absolute gun and does everything you could ask of a player
Langdon had a very good game
Varcoe OMG all the little things you do the 2nd 3rd 4th efforts amazing
Jesse White please accept a transfer to any club anywhere you are not needed here any longer
Moore did enough contesting to show he will be a player
Maynard showed glimpses think he got caught at times ball watching
We're now a game and % out of the 4 but not all is lost.
I'll take plenty out of the game I'll sleep well knowing we had them tonight for the first time in many years.
Ok bring on next week if keep showing this attitude and team orientated game plans we will win more than we lose

Their motivation might be Walsh more than playing us.

I'm also disgusted and pissed off, we were the best side tonight, dominated the game for the most part and pissed away chance after chance after chance to put the swords through their ageing, tired old useless bodies. We let this one go, just gutted as we lost this game, they didn't win it, we lost it.

At the start of the game if I had of known we would lose by 10 points I wouldn't have been concerned by it, it would have been a good result but to lose by 10 when we should have won by 6 goals and watching us piss it away is just soul destroying. They better not put in a piss weak effort next week and lose to Port, that would rub salt into the wound.

Loved the effort around the ground, we were superb, is it wrong to blame Cloke for this loss? Missed shots and that f$%&ing handball that missed the target in the last when we were streaming out of the middle just killed it for me. We have to learn how to be cleaner and efficient with the ball otherwise we will continue to lose winable games. Gutted, just gutted. end.

Old man Toovey just got owned two weeks running.
Surely you jest; toovs was one of our better small defenders.

I thought Marley had a quiet one if anyone
Williams 27 touches.

Toovey 6 possessions, Rioli 5 goals.

Reminds me so much of Hawthorn and Geelong. Hawks got close a few times but Geelong always found a way.

The Hawks just found a way to finally get over the line and since then, it's been all their way.

The physical gap has closed. This is a mental battle now.

Last week was an honourable loss.

This week was an opportunity missed.

What a kick in the cods.

This is why Hawthorn are so good. We are a great club too, but we seriously need to quickly improve and look to what Hawthorn does as a club and copy it. Well done to both clubs tonight.
Clarkois a good person eh? He's a a tosser, ask the kids at the local under 9s game he visited. He's a sniper and his team reflect it. He might do the odd thing to "pretend" he has good character but I'm not fooled. He has a long list of misdeamurs that prove my point back into his playing days.
