What I'm saying David, is that these looney leftists are going to extremes to try and make out that Trump is to blame for every wrong doing in the US... and even when they get caught out, blatantly lying, they shrug that off and still try and distort the truth by digressing and making more false statements.
This clown Jussies story...
He claimed two masked men in ski masks used racial and anti-gay slurs and shouted "This is MAGA [Make America Great Again] country!". According to the claims, the men looped a rope around his neck before running away. He said they also poured some kind of chemical on him but he fought them off and was admitted to hospital and discharged a few hours later. Public figures, including celebrities and Democrat politicians, expressed public support for Smollett on social media. Smollett also told police he was on the phone to his manager Brandon Z. Moore at the time of the attack, with Moore confirming he heard some of what happened including the MAGA cry and a racist slur.

This isn't the only botched attempt at trying to make Trump look bad by faking comical attacks, there's been dozens, it's laughable.

Bernie in the lead in the polling for the first primary. Looks like it'll be Biden stealing the nomination from him with superdelegates and DNC corruption this time.

Come on, admit that you'd never heard of this Jussie Smollett before last week. I'm certainly not embarrassed to admit that I hadn't; I'd never even heard of the TV show that he acts in.Skids wrote:And this is the typical response. So this random guy may have faked an attack for ... why? (could be to advance an anti-Trump narrative, could be for self-promotion, could be a desperate way of garnering sympathy from employers who were, allegedly, considering firing him from the show. Who knows?) And yet you're saying that not focusing on "the ludicrous act of this desperate fool" is somehow diverting from the conversation (about what? The fact that racial hate crimes exist in America, or that Trump has exacerbated those tensions?)
Harris's statement ultimately sums up the situation pretty well. It's the right-wingers swarming around this news story like seagulls who are really detached from reality, because they would like to think it reveals something deeper about society and thus validates their own desire to downplay racial violence. It doesn't do either.
