Bit harsh, first game back for many months, last august i think, i can cut him some slack, its Maynards brain fart that haunts me, that was just a shocker, plus our set shots for goal too. :o

Callum Brown is a pathetic kick for goal. Needs to be dropped for that game loosing effort and replaced by Treloar.
Terrible result by Pies and looks like Howe is gone for the season. Disaster!!

Best wishes to Jeremy Howe who appears to have done his ACL :(
Noble’s lack of basic skill caused that. If he’d taken the uncontested mark, that follow up contest would never have happened. We must stop playing these guys with no ball-handling skills.

Where is Quaynor? Where is Murphy? Where is Kelly? Yet again, we got pipped at the post because we fielded a team with only about 14 good quality AFL players in it. Noble, Mihocek, Mayne, Wills - you can’t hide these guys, week after week. It isn’t a winning plan to field a side that can only win if Grundy wins all the contested ball and Sidebottom and Pendlebury have 60 disposals. Some of the other mids have to be able to get on the outside and run.

Very, veryfrustrating. Leon Cameron straight out of the Alastair Clarkson school of push the boundaries of the rule book. Pies led the free count but a lot of holding went unnoticed at stoppages I thought.
Lack of forward tackling pressure and composure in front of the sticks is the story.
Interesting that the teams we struggle against the most are the Hawks and GWS

GWS - We've won 1 out of the last 6
Hawks - We've won 1 out of the last 13

Played rd 1 actually and was quite good. Came good tonight by the last, will be better for the run.

But given he is the only player on our list who can take a big mark up forward, he should be pretty safe. Often comes good in the last qtr of close games as players tire.

Why all the love for Moore, sure he was great for the first 1.5 quarters then his disposal turned to crap and he cost us goals on multiple occasions?
Don't even get me started on Mayne, C. Brown, Maynard and Noble. All of these players owe Jez as he did his knee for nothing because of their ineptitude!

We have to seriously start thinking about trading JDG. He isn’t going to get any better than what he is delivering.

Unfortunately we are starting to develop a reputation as flat track bullies.

Top sides lean on us and we fold like a deck of cards. Beat the Dogs in a game of round 1 covid-19 contact free basketball, escape with a draw against a top side after shitting the bed for 3 quarters, smack a mid-table saints side who have no idea what they're doing and now lose via horrible turnovers and goal kicking choking to a top side who applied 4 qtr pressure. These are gamestyle pathways that don't fill you with confidence that we will stand up at the pointy end of the year no matter how you want to explain it, sugar-coat it or excuse it.

We should have won that game against a contender but found a way to lose again. At no stage did I think we would, there is no 'eye of the tiger' so to speak of in this playing group.

A very frustrating football team we have here.
