Don't think I could stomach watching the coach's press conference. :x
Interesting though that WHE played better tonight, after many of us were aghast at his selection.
Was impressed with McCreery's showing. At least he played with a lot of heart and applied pressure, which most of the other forwards did not.
With JDG clearly getting beaten in the forward line, why was he not shifted onto the ball??
His presser last week was bizarre to say the least. Perhaps he should smoke a joint and turn up stoned like the NY Jets coach Adam Gase. That would add something interesting to his boring presser. Really he is the most boring speaker of all time. No wonder the players aren't listening anymore. Just listen to what he says tonight. You know you'll agree.

Our players can’t be this bad. I suspect some of them would be elite if they were playing for other teams. But in this system (if you can call it that) they are trash

At least we've got Rantall, McInnes, Macrae, Kelly, Poulter etc to look forward to

McCreery is everything that is wrong with our team. Our game is all about chaos and ferocious effort, but no one can sustain that for a full 120 minutes.

We need more classy footballers who make it look easy and find a way to get easy and cheap goals that don't require so much effort.

Where are our uncontested marks inside F50?

Tony Shaw era Pies

The apathy, the dumb footballers, the ability to lose to anyone

It's 98/99 era shaw

I 1/2 expect Frankie Raso to do a dumb turnover 1/2 the time

It's gonna be a long 5 years of rebuild
We just got nutted at the clearances...

Buckley kept JT and discarded LK.

hopeless.

I loved bucks as a player, but he cant coach.

Hird and Voss found out, that's too hard. Best players dont always become great coaches.

He cant mark.
He cant ruck
He cant kick
He has no heart.
He can only play a ruck rover style game and that is not good enough.
Bite the bullet and dump him into the VFL.
He will get the message or he will become a good VFL player.
Side note Keffie killed us tonight.
Bux didn't rate him
I agree with this. Cameron and Coxy can share the ruck. Nic Nat will win that position anyway.
I had the same thought about Keefe!!

No. It was all those years ago in that elimination final vs Port Adelaide - rewatch the last quarter.. everyone blames Shaw but really it was lost in the box - Buckley looks completely stunned, I had my doubts before but it was at this moment I knew he was completely out of his depth.. 2018 was a fluke, and it could have been a miracle flag.. but it wasn't and we're at where we're at because the club has been run by buffoons. We need to stop. We need a breath of fresh air, we need a buzz around the club, we need to move on and into the future with 'consensus' and a professional outlook - we need to let go of the Buckley fantasy.

Really? McCreery was the only prick that gave his all, the rest sat around for the easy touch. Couldn't be happier with his intent inside 50.

How can you say that when the kid wasn't even given a look in with delivery into the forward line????
Heart is the first necessary ingredient in a team IMHO, then so called "class". Preferably both eg Toby Greene.

Buckley has had at his disposal much better sides than Shaw ever did. No comparison.
