My view on that is that the only person trying to politicise the Covid discussion is WPT.

Yes I've made lots of comments and comparisons between Gladys and Dandrews approach, but that isn't politically motivated.

Just about every topic ends up as an ideological or political argument.
X thing happened (name your event /topic) and its because of some political or ideological reason, even if it isn't. Everyone has their own favorites they like to push or label some one else as even if its not true.

For me it's just the same old people trotting out the same old arguments

When you know which group to put someone in it's easy to predict what they're going to have an issue with and which politician they're going to blame

It's all getting rather old

Leftist hypocrite, good solid upstanding conservative, it's all a blur these days

I could probably write a script to automate people's responses.

I mean when I come back after a five (?) year hiatus and it's the same core group of people, it's not really about the politics and the arguments at all. You gotta get some new blood in. If you're not growing, you're atrophying.

If you want to encourage more Gen Z's to post here, you need some simple inducements.

1. Every post gets a star
2. Stars can be exchanged at a rate of 50 stars to 5 minutes of immunity from moderation for swearing at or otherwise belittling a poster over 50 years old.
3. 1 month moratorium on spelling and/or grammar
4. 1 month moratorium on any form of criticism from anyone
5. 1 month moratorium on facts supporting an opinion. During that time, their opinion is to be accepted as scientific fact.
6. Immunity from attending Tannin's history class , David's exotic movie discussion group and WPT's alternative history group where everything bad that has happened in Australia since 1438 AD is the fault of Scott Morrison. They're free to attend TP's bourbon classes but can drink an Aperol Spritz or a craft beer instead
