What a come from behind win. Last year I believed we could always come back but thought the game was done at 3QT.

What a team!!!

Darcy Moore, Nick Daicos and others immense!
It was a strange one - we had the 5 leading disposal-winners (and they were our 5 best footballers - Naicos, Sidey, Jaicos, De Goey and Pendles) and led most of the stats (the only one we were losing badly was the frees) but just couldn't score readily. Obviously, from the way the last quarter unfolded, Essendon just didn't have the legs to keep blocking all the holes for another quarter. Collingwood actually - to use a cliche - ran riot.

Yes, he did. I had him 6th-best for us. Mitchell's efforts at the contested ball just nudged him out of the top 5 - but Billy did very, very well against strong opposition. All credit to him.

I thought that Draper tap and Stringer goal at the end of the third quarter may have put it out of reach. McRae, his coaching team, and Jarrod Waite, you fkn legends. Love this club.

Not once did I bag the players or coach. Never do that. The umpires, however

True, I never lost faith, just more angry over lousy umps, bad goal kicking, and the fact we had a third of our team out. I thought we would at least fight it out, and I would have been satisfied with a 2-3 goal loss, more or less. But the end result was amazing, watching the clock countdown on TV, with our boys passing it backwards etc, and McCreerys last goal, really would have left a bone in the throat of their turd coach, Scott. Suffer in ya jocks, Scottie. :o :D

Great game, great win, Darcy Moore's speech was tear inducing and spine tingling.

I questioned the coaching, I admit.....especially forward coaching.
Umpires were awful, especially in first quarter.

Bombers took away the corridor from us for three quarters. It was attitude that won the game for us and that’s down to the players more than anything.

Absolutely loved Framptons game. In the lead up I honestly thought Draper was going to dominate and win the Anzac Day Medal. So happy for Billy, he really stood up and played out of his skin. I’d almost prefer him to be #1 ruckman with Cameron as his back up.
