Our VFL boys played like the seniors on the 3rd, played all over the Tigs with strong running football to bang on 9 goals to 1.

At the end of the 3rd quarter Collingwood 16:7 :103 lead the Tigs 8.9:57.

Their efficiency and ball use in the third quarter quarter was exceptional. They’ve made the Tigers look like witches hats.
Steene and Begg continue to impress. Both ruckman but both very different types. To Johnson’s credit, he continues to be very unselfish around goals.
Biggest concern for Collingwood is with Carmichael who has just come off with a possible concussion.
Three quarter time and after a scintillating third quarter, the scores are -
Pies 16 . 7 103 to Tigers 8 . 9 57. Hard to believe the Tigers were in front at half time.
Also a minor injury watch on Begg at the end of that quarter ( lower leg )
Just to add, McInnes also looking restricted with a collarbone niggle

Begg back on but Carmichael and McInnes are done for the day. Surprised if either play next week. I assume Jakob Ryan would come back for next week.

An absolute rout.
Goal to Begg.

Mighty Magpies 21:8 :134 lead the Tigs 8.10:58.

Neville Jetta at 33 years of age could well have played some AFL this year. Will have proves7 invaluable on ground leadership this year.

Macrae looks to have been put back in the stable for the day.

I thought we were in licorice all-sorts at half time, a stunning display in the 2nd to run away with it.

Great game from Begg....a smokey for the finals?

Really liked Ed Allan’s game today. He’s one of those rare midfielders who does a lot of damage with creative handballs. Nearly always handballs long and lateral and sees options that others don’t. You would expect he’s only one strong preseason away from a debut next year.
