Woewodin - Where are you?

If we are to have any impact against the Saints (if we can win the ruck) Woewodin has to fire, FFS this man is a freaking Brownlow Medalist!!! i have yet to see this man make an Impact on the side, and he now has to. Alot of hope is resting on this guy and blokes like Licuria and (I'd hate to say it) O'Bree. I have never been a fan of Woewodin, but the kid can play and he needs to do so in these crucial weeks. We got to the 2 flags by leadership, the fact that the young blokes looked up to the exp. players and were inspired by their presence. Now with blokes like Burns and Bucks out these young players need that reassurance that the older blokes are going to back them up. We need the players to gain more confidence in each other.

This topic is ridiculous......the guy plays football, one of the best disposers of the ball in the team. More often than not you'll find him at the bottom of the pack. He's never been a quick player, never been a huge hardball get winner, it doesn't matter, we knew it when we picked him up! He is the polish most teams would kill for, not worth saying more.

Yes it's starting to get very boring.
Why don't people pick on Rocca or Tarrant and tell them they need to lift for a change, these 2 get as much or more $$$'s than Woey and deliver bugga all at times.

I have hung shit on these players also, jeez some of this stuff that is being said, the excuses that are divised for some players that do not deserve it. Are you letting them off? Sure Wowie gets the ball, but he need to get the hard ball too, who else is going to , with this diminished side, I have stuck it out with the pies thru thick and thin and to tell you the truth I'm not happy with the squad at all this year (not as bad a the spoon a few years back) and is scares me that alot of people are going on like nothings wrong!! this is like some form of Proporganda, where we just pretend that everythings good while we ignore the problem and die. There is a problem and its players like Wowie thast have the ability to Quell it.

Mate, if you care you have a look, you will notice that there several topics on this a few weeks ago. I think people are just a little sick of talking about Woey.

Woey is in the best five of a mediocre lot at present. Your only as good as your team mates and if they are crap and you get no support you look even worse. Woey has had some great games and has had some shockers. At least he performs on some regular basis. O'Bree is as soft as his nickname and would struggle at VFL level at present.
None of the current team are playing the same intensity they did last year. Hence we are bottom of the ladder.

Good to see Woey play a good game, he played well, he attacked the ball, let's hope there are more games like these for Woey. Well done Shane.

He played well. He is having a real dip and diving onto the loose ball. He is showing more passion in recent weeks and his form has lifted. Go Woey!
