Played as a key forward the whole game, which makes for a change from recent history, where he has been thrown around at both ends during games. They did, however, give him a run on the ball at one point.

Only took the 1 contested mark, which lead to his first goal. Was a good one, too, where he was caught behind deep forward but almost reached around his man's head and plucked it.

Goals 2 and 3 were the real delights to watch, in the last couple of minutes of the third term. Goal 2 was a pluck out of mid-air, a burst around the oncoming man and kicked truly on the run.

Goal 3 was just brilliant. Moore tracked a loose ball back to the goal square, ran onto it, but was immediately taken forward in a tackle by his man. No free kick was paid, but Moore was smart enough to immediately roll onto his back and get his toe to the ball to kick it from a metre out.

Goal 4 was just a cheapie, a Joe the Goose over the back, but they all count...

12 of his possessions were contested and he had 6 score involvements and 4 inside 50s as well...

Sounds like he has finally showed his capabilities on the big stage. Would love to see a highlights package from today.
