Well done Pies. On the front foot and got the deal done with minimal fuss or fanfare. Welcome to Collingwood Daniel.

Wells a great get for the Pies, I see no negative to this. The best goal assist player of 2016, will be of huge benefit to the hard leading Darcy Moore. He is and always has been a great player. It's exciting for us and all of a sudden our best football just got better!

The upside of this deal is fantastic. All we have to do is keep him on the track and Wells will do the rest

Yep with his age there will very likely be performance triggers built in.
Surprise, surprise Mr Cigar, journalists wrong again about 3 * $600k.
Also, Mr Cigar, Mr Cloke did not get back into the team until round 11 from round 4, suggest he was playing rubbish.
Re-iterate my thoughts from yesterday, rapt to get a person of good character to the club, that is a very very good footballer. Welcome Daniel and I look forward to you helping us contend for a flag in the years to come.
so the journalists are wrong about 3*600 but right about 3*500 ??
have u finished primary school yet ?
No, didn't say that the 3 * $500k was right. Just pointing out that you were adamant that the 3 *$600k was right.

I wonder if his goal assist prowess and the rise and rise of Darcy's next three years were part of the plan

Im a fan of this pick up. There never been too many players I'd want from North's list but Wells is one. (Gibson was another which the Hawks thought too!).
Interested to note that he has played 240 odd games so far. Our 3 season offer means we hope/expect him to be a 300 game player... its getting more common but still not many make it that far. However you have to accept that the buyer has to take a risk/pay overs to lure a FA away from a stable home club.

It's a High Risk/High Reward Signing
Could work really well for us and get Hopefully 3 Good Seasons out of him
or
He does not play as well as has because of Age and Stays Injury Prone

The only way people will see this as a success is if he wins a flag.
I still think we've made a good move here.
Hopefully we'll get 50 games, a top 4 b&f placing and some finals games before he hangs them up. If we are really, really lucky, we'll see him play in a Grand Final for Collingwood. And if we're extremely lucky, then we'll see him on the winning side too.
