In all seriousness, of course the ham-wielders should have either been given their ride or passed on to the next driver at no cost. But it’s much more fun to have something to get outraged over, I say.
So it’s ok to force someone to make a cake, but not someone else to carry shopping? Who knows how long the next taxi or Uber would be?

This is still a Christian country,(not that that matters but it is) even though I no longer buy it, ham is a legal product, therefore he discriminated against the customer. Forno good reason. They ordered the car, they waited, and got turned away for the most ridiculous reason. If he feels that strongly, he can go back to his pig free country. Ifhes an Aussie he should abide by Aussie rules and laws. No law against ham. .

**** thathappy holidays shot! If your offended by our countries traditions, **** off! Try being offended by Muslim tradition in a Muslim country, they won’t tell you to **** off, they make you!

I think we all should be grateful that Santa Claus died on a cross and was resurrected so we could have presents.

Yep.

I picked up a portable evaporative air conditioner to take up to Toc. Forecast for the next week is cooler than last year but still high 30's and low 40's . The little split system up there manages to keep the lounge room cool enough if you run it all day, but this will (hopefully) take the edge off the bedrooms.

Have you figured out how you got the black eye yet?

If only alcohol was involved! My coordination is bad enough on its own though! It could have been the dog panicking when my ginormous nephews were killing each other playing that stupid stackem up and pull em out game with things that looked like wheel stops! The bloody noise when the fell! Pretty sure he clocked me one as he scrambled up me like a koala up a gum tree!

Apparently there's a bloke missing presumed drowned in the river here at Toc. Heard a flicker on the radio so looked online, bloke in his 20s was swimming across the river about 4pm Sunday when he went under and didn't come up.

I guess that explains the 3 search and rescue people who passed me in a tinny heading upstream while i was swimming downstream this morning from the town beach to the boat ramp, the Police caravan at the boatramp and the TV crew interviewing a cop who clearly wasn't from round here

How can you tell whether he was from around there or not? Just from looking at him from a distance?
