Yesterday now, but took my son to the Iron Maiden concert last night :D :D

Very surprised that I was actually able to hear the alarm this morning after going to sleep last night to the sound of my ears ringing.

When a 20 foot Eddie walked out on stage and joined in............ :D

Also, for those who like that kind of music (as opposed to the thrash metal that some new bands play) one of the support acts was "vanishing point". Very much in the Genre of Iron Maiden.

I went Wednesday night Stui. Ended up staying at Young and Jackson's too long and missing the support act, but Maiden were pharking fantastic. Absolutely blew the lid of the place.

Brilliant. The singer was like the energiser bunny.

Spent the whole concert standing up. Loved it. My ears still feel blocked but the ringing has stopped.

Well it wasn't today but yesterday.
I have introduced my exchange student from Argentina to Collingwood!!!! Explained it all to her & I think we may have a Pies supporter on our hands. Showed her the 2007 highlights video & a bit of the Prelim & the boys at the 07 & 06 GF footy show (had a bit of a laugh..... they can't dance lol) & then many Dale Thomas ones. She said "How am I going to be able to recognise him on the field?" I assured her, there is no way you can miss him!!! :P

Woot Woot!

Oh & I forgot to add that I showed her Harry O'Brien. I heard that he can speak spanish which is what my exchange student speaks, I told her this & now I think she wants to meet him!
