I'd really like scum to lose tonight and go 0-3 and possibly 0-4 against the pink ducks in Sydney the week after but I hate the dreamons just as much and don't want them to win 3 in a row either. I can't even barrack for the draw either as we've had a draw too. Can both sides forfeit the premiership points because they are both so very loathsome?

Carlscum have only three significant avenues to goal: Curnow, McKay and De Koning.
It is incredible how impotent their midfield has been shown to be - by us (with both Titch and JDG missing) and now by the Swans.
Incredible, as both Cripps and Walsh are magnificent players. Not sure how Voss has arrived at this situation.
Another issue for Carlscum is that after their excellent and very good players, their bottom 6 or 7 are really ineffectual.
Sydney exposed them brutally in this regard tonight, as we did. Our 6 or 7 bottom players always make an impact because they have embraced and absorbed a system strategy which enables them to perform at their very best.
To me, it looks like Sydney has developed a similar inner coherence.
They have the added advantage of significant home ground advantage when they play at the miniturised version of a football arena called the SCG, so will accrue a substantial number of wins due to this.
Sydney to me seems the clear front runners.
But we are not far behind, because our systems and mental grit are just as good.
