I put on the David Bowie album Let's Dance at work today. Not usually my kind of thing, but it worked. :)

Played some vinyl on the turntable yesterday:

1. Ricky Lee Jones:

Gravity

2. Suzanne Vega

Undertow

3. Parquito D'Rivera

Blowin' (sax)

Grand stuff. Hadn't heard the last two for a long long time.

I play Ricky Lee Jones a fair bit. Quite taken with her music & it sounds great on the vinyl.

Had to pick up junior from thornbury, nice afternoon, put the top down, turned up my favourite rock love song mix, drove up to the building, and it would seem it was a bit loud. The whole class were apparently peering out the 2nd story window, I was about 30 metres away, and junior says, I don't need to look, that's my mums music!

She jumps in the car, turns it down, and gives me the look that says put the top up or die! Kids got no sense of humour!
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!
