Stevens has yo agree to any trade. Port would like to deal with Carlton but if Stevens says No, they cant. The game is that Stevens can say no to any trade but Collingwood. If Port dont cave in to this, he goes into the draft where he has to go to whoever picks him.I_love_Clokey wrote:I actually think all of this stuff about Nick Stevens coming to Collingwood is just a bunch of crap because if Port are smart (which i doubt they are) they should trade Stevens to Carlton and try and get their first round draft pick and try to get Adam Cooney but if they do that Carlton will still get Cooney anyway becuase haven't Carlton, Western Bulldogs and some other team got priority picks?

Hopefully it goes to the 11th hour and Port in their desperation take whatever the Pies throw at them. Thats what most of us here think is happening. Stevens did not want to leave a team that finishes in the top 4 to one that will finish in the bottom four the next two to three years.
Chuffed to have seen 3 flag wins in my lifetime but still greedy for more.

They are only saying that because if we don't get him, they have the most to offer. What they are saying on the news is based on littlemore than assumptions.GreekLunatic wrote:lol now channel 10 thinks melbs the front runners for stevens wow how many more clubs are front runners for him this saga is actually turning out to be a joke
