I see this as a positive sign that our team has developed to a point now where we are so confident as a supporter group that todays result against far inferior opposition was exactly what we were expecting to occur thus the lack of excitment.jack_spain wrote:Amazing! Where is everyone?

Has the end of the world come before we had a chance to win another flag?
Just our luck.
Next weeks game against the scum followed by the rematch against the cats will light up this board if we can secure victory in both matches.
He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD!

What a completely boring game. The only interest late was seeing if it would be a 100pt margin.
It's great to win, but the opposition was pathetic. We were toying with them like a cat does with a mouse.
Good to see Leon get on the end of a couple of "cheap" ones after his hard work setting up others over the last few weeks. The crowd still loves him.
Credit where it's due, the umps were pretty good, still a few ridiculous frees (either way) but all in all well umpired. Interesting when you look at who was doing the job, not the usual suspects who think they are the game.
If next week plays out like this I promise I wont get bored!

You still here???Raw Hammer wrote:Why? Because I think Goldsack is a better player than Maxwell?mudlark wrote:Go awayRaw Hammer wrote:Goldsack was nearly BOG for mine. The Maxwell vs Goldsack debate is dead. Goldy every time. Did Maxwell have any effective disposals? Actually spoiled Jolly in the Richmond goalsquare. WTF was that? Anyway, who to drop for Heath and Cloke? Wellingham looks likely. Too slow in his decision making and hates the forward handballl. Blair has done no wrong and continues to impress. Josh won't reach 200 games unless we're a game clear come Round 22 and we decide to rest one of Jolly or Brown. Leon so close to snagging his first (I think) 5 goal haul. Pendles needs a good smack in the face so he stops kicking 15m daisy cutters to the opposition. Oh, and changing my Supercoach captain from Ablett (145) to Swan (190 x 2) was a masterstroke.
Maxwell is solid. Goldsack is better. I'm a huge Goldsack fan, so shoot me.

That was a training drill. Like AnthonyC said, we were just toying with them at times.
That torp from Goldsack was sensational - one of the biggest kicks I've seen live. He was great yesterday.
Didak, Swan....take a bow. Masterful performances.
Blair is turning out to be a real find, I think he even lead our tackles yesterday. Pretty sure he had 7 @ 3/4 time. Not bad for a little bloke. And, he just seems to find the footy.
Overall a nice win, but I think we were beaten in the tackle count, which says to me that our intensity was a little off.
Hope we win like that next week, ie. by a fair margin.

Great day all round, sitting in front of the standing Richmond grog squad and giving them heaps all day, even had a song dedicated to us from them.
Love the fact that we have a real ruckman since the days of Monkey, plenty of positives, won`t dwell on the only negative which all and sundry are aware of, only say, Goldy every day of the week
Leon saving his best for the finals this time, instead of the other way around
Didak, all class
Captain, anyways.
Goldy is capturing the form we all know he has
Matrix is a bit quiet at the moment. not to worry he will deliver
Jolly, you star, finally a real ruckman at our disposal
Reid is a suprise for me, didn`t think he would develop so quick, a year ahead of schedule.
Lockyer, his glory days are over, thanks for the maginificent service over your time at the club
McCaffer was solid again
Swan, fantastic that he responded the way he did after what transpired last Sat night, brownlow is yours son.
Smash that filth next week as we march on to glory.

Had to go to a meeting at half time. Lucky it was clear we would thump them.
Great to see the likes of Leroy, Leon, Goldy and Caff adding so much to the side. It is critical we take the load off our gun players by getting more out of those who have contributed less in the past for whatever reason.
The usual suspects were awesome. Nice game for the captain to ease back in. Also great to see us drive home our advantage now percentage matters.
You have to like having players of Cloke and Shaw's ability ready to come back in. Plenty more pressure from the twos again today will also add to the mix.
Caaarna' Pies. Bring on next week's obstacle.

In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

Good to see us pumping teams that are clearly not up to our class. Should do the same to the Booze next week, especially with them coming back from Perth.
Interesting selection dilemma next week. Who makes way for Cloke & Shaw? And will Josh get his 200th this week? It would be good to see Davis & Fraser play their 200th together.
