My memories of round 9 are that the cats actually had us under control most of the game. I think it was the game that Beams kicked a bouncing goal after the half time siren to give us some hope & momentum going into the 3rd quarter. The Army cheered the boys off the ground [that was actually one of the year's highlights for me,.. thus far] and we were breathing fire for the first few minutes after the main break. It didn't translate into scoreboard pressure & the cats made us pay.

Looking at how consistent we've been in 2010 & particularly after the half way mark of the season, at how the integration of Jolly & Ball has improved over the journey, the outstanding form of Swan & Didak, the coinfidence I see in the youth and the overall commitment from the 22 as a group - I think with this form we can topple the cats.

I'm nervous before EVERY game, but I'm gaining in confidence of this group. Particularly after the St. Kilda game.

Spot on.

If I had to nit pick, it would have been nice if Medders had received an encouragement award via the Emergencies.

Better if he's getting game time.

He and Fraz will head to Bendigo on Saturday morning for the VFL game against Essendon.

Match starts at noon.

Surprised that Podsiadly hasn't been named in the 22.

Geelong at this stage have only gone with the one genuine ruckman, Hawkins and Mooney.

If that remains unchanged I'd be quite pleased.
