Bye has Come in from $4.00

Now , Collingwood $1.15 / Bye $2.50
Smart money would be on a draw I reckon.

A better bet would be to predict the exact final score line as:

Code: Select all

Collingwood 0.0 0.0 0.0 0.0.0
Bye 0.0 0.0 0.0 0.0.0
Reckon I can find a bookie who will take my bet?

St Kilda are playing their season as a bye, as in bye bye. A tragi-comedy it's their farewell tour.

We don't want to get complacent, so far no team has scored any points against the bye

How come we get to play the bye twice in six weeks? The media's right, our draw is too soft!

Are you kidding? The Bye is undefeated this year and they're so hard at it that hardly anyone has won the week after playing them.

The problem with the bye is that, as a team, they seem to trouble the 'Pies physically. After Collingwood last took on the bye, their next game saw a bit of a fade-out at the end (so much so that their score actually reduced by 6pts in the last couple of minutes).

I'm not sure whether the difficulty arose because some players selected for the bye actually attended and played? Perhaps the way to deal with that potential risk is to make sure that the Club only selects players who are certain non-starters (so, the 4 in Arizona and Brad Dick would be certain selections). Not sure what other changes should be made though?

Edit: sorry, wokko - I see you made that joke while I was mulling over my post.

So, Donny, tell me - how much does it cost for us to buy our way into Mod status so we can delete Hal's posts?
