They're for the MAP caffitaly coffee machine. They fit the Aldi one, they don't jam much, I get the Aldi ones jamming sometimes. This morning it took me 4 goes to get a pod to sit right, it kept jamming and falling into the waste bin.

I actually prefer the taste of the Aldi coffee pods. I only buy the No 10 ones. 2 cups of that in the morning and I'm good to go. The daughter does the hot chocolate and chai latte ones.

i don't drink coffee during the day, purely as a morning kick start. I like it strong, 2 cups of 10 in the morning and I'm right to go.

I've seen people inhale cup after cup of coffee or energy drinks during the day, I can't do that and don't need it, just got to get the motor started.

I love my coffee, a 4-5 cup per day man.
I have a proper hand scoop machine at home (Harris in the green packet is my favourite ground coffee) - and bought one of the Aldi Expressi Machines for work about 6 months ago. Great buy!!
Agree the #10 & #9 are the best ones, but always sold out.
I am interested in the hot-chocolate pods so my work colleagues will get some use out of the machine too.

Stui, TP - I solved the jamming/falling problem a while ago (for the genuine Aldi pods).
There is a technique - once pod is placed in the slot, pull handle down pretty fast until it hits the pod, but then don't force the handle at the last bit, be more gentle after you've felt contact.
I haven't had a pod jam or drop through for about 4-5 months, and haven't broken a handle since the first replacement in the first week!! LOL!!

thanks for the tip.

i heard a lot of them broke the handle, mines 6 months old never misseda beat, dont really have issue with the genuine ones jamming, but i had a map one get stuck in the holw in side, and i had to use a knife to get it out. ovccassionally the genuine ones go sort of jam, and then go straight through, but its usually because no one has emptied the used pod chute!!

im really not that wrapped in the hot choc, i prefer jarrah. when i find the 8,9,10 packs i buy a heaP

If you're floating around the northen burbs, the Aldi at Greensborough Plaza and the one at Bundoora (cnr Grimshaw St and Plenty Rd) always have plenty of the No. 10.

You'd pull up at a set of lights and when they turned green you'd discover your tyres were gone. :P
