Lynch isn't tall enough to Ruck. He is shorter than Dawes. I still think Martin is a better bet. Has a leap on him as well.

Agree Martin would be the Better Choice. Hell we could get Both

Tyson Goldsack is 193cm, same height as Jarryd Roughead.

Roughead is 100kg, Goldsack is less than 90kg.

My point is that rucking is as much about weight and build as it is height.

Lynch is not tall but does know how to play as a ruckman and has a good technique.

But I agree that Martin would be a better option, even if it is just for his age advantage

If we were to sign Lynch, then he could potentially solve our second ruck problems and play the Leigh Brown utility role. As a result, Chris Dawes can focus primarily on being a forward and kicking goals. That's the main reason why Dawes struggled to kick enough goals for a key-forward.

However, we cannot believe what KB has said either. He said Cloke was 100% gone and he would be joining the Scum. To be honest, everyone's been saying that Lynch would go to Carlscum.

Even though we might get Lynch, I still prefer us to go with Jonathan Giles.

I'd prefer Lynch. Kicks goals from beyond 50 and also is quite adept at crumbing goals. Throws his weight around too. Could be a good move. The guy has kicked 65 goals in a season. Has strong hands on a lead. Would be an excellent foil for Travis for a couple years.

If we get 3 years out of Lynch Witts and Ceglar should be ready to go by then. Jolly will probably retire at the end of next season, when his contract ends.

Was he injured this year? I don't think he played much footy.
Yeah I've gone off him now. The logic is too strong can't make the Dees first 22 then what..

The Age mentioned Jared Rivers (not for the leigh brown role) just as a swap / pick-up / trade
He was injured for majority of the season.

He started last season in defence before moving into the ruck and now forward/ruck he came to the game late at 18 years old so has a lot of upside compared with others his age.
