Gaz copped a injury last week. Hopefully he can't walk currently.

Didn't stop Steven Johnson tearing us a new one on one leg in 2011 :(

Let's send two players to him all day. If it works for other clubs to triple team Trav, then surely we can double team Gaz.

Ablett gets free kicks, Trav doesn't.

The bulldogs loss makes this a more important win.

And I think White should play.

Yep, Ablett will get most of the 50/50 frees. We won't. And we won't get a lot of the obvious ones either.

I also think we can win but it won't be easy.

What are the success rates for taggers on Ablett this year?

Macaffer is the best one we've got and will be better than nothing but Ablett is just so damn good and his burst speed and core strength will worry Macaffer like Dangerfield and Griffen did.

Ask Luke Hodge about that. See the quote from Hodge to the umpire fro last weekend

"Oh Gaz. That's right, f##king Gaz. We've always gotta look out for F##king Gaz!"

Last year's game was close but they had the answers when it counted.
This is the acid test to see if we have gone forwards or they have really have passed us. Gotta leave nothing out there as this game is season defining.
Elliot out injured
Williams in if fit
Otherwise Broomy of Martin.
Can't see who to drop for Langdon

Last years disaster was due to attitude we took into the game and an appalling accuracy. And while Suns have definitely improved so have the aforementioned aspects of our game.
Fear not my friends, we'll get the biccies with relative ease to the tune of around 5/6 goals.

I get the feeling something special is stirring in the Magpie camp.

Yes, we have players out still ( Brown, a big loss) , but the names are starting to filter back in and the kids have had some important game time and experience. We have frequently fielded teams with between 8-11 players with less than 50 games experience in 2014. This can only be a good thing long-term.

Langdon, Frost, Witts, Grundy, Broomhead, Elliott, Williams, Dwyer, Kennedy, Adams, Keefe, Thomas, are the future, my Magpie friends.

Added to this roll-call in 2015 will be Freeman, Scharenberg and Darcy Moore.

Get excited....!

Getting excited about my first trip to Metricon Stadium. Leaving a cold Bendigo on Friday.
Can any Qld/G/C posters please tell me if I would need my warm winter woolies for the sunshine state? I need to take as less as possible to make it cheaper travel!!
