But, so what, who gives a shit! For me I just wanted us to start playing the game properly and we have been doing that the past 3 weeks. Keep practicing at this nice balance of defense and attack and get ready to explode in 2017. Keep playing like this and get better at it. Everyone use 2016 to grow and develop, don't waste it, use it. We will win many more games this season but top 8 is a pipe dream. I am looking forward to the future for the first time in a long time under Bux's leadership. The full time zone crap is gone, we are sticking closer to our opponents and we are pushing back more often and timing our runs better.....we are learning. Go Pies!!
We've got Port, Melbourne, Freo and Carlton in the next 5 weeks (bye included). All undeniably winnable. Puts us at 8 and 6 and on the fringe/in the 8.
Just keeping it real. Would love to see us make the finals, but the competition is so brutal and we are simply not good enough yet to win 9 out of 12. I don't think I am wrong but looking forward to the rest of our season.

I liked what I saw today. Smith and Crocker will be great players for he club. Darcy Moore just doesn't stop trying. Grundy is getting better and better. Overall defence is improving week by week.
This may be a 2017 project.
This could become very good very fast.

Can't fault the effort. Down to no one on the bench so it's no surprise we ran out of legs. That said our form for the first 3 quarters wasn't exactly great Forward line struggled all day and Bullfrogs kept getting easy clearances out of our F50.

Will be curious to see whether Bucks did in fact overrule the medical staff and insist Fas try to come back on in the last.
none on the bench in the end. it looked and sounded like bucks asked fas for one last effort which fas attempted with a fitness test. was cooked and medical staff ruled him out.

Adams was a hammy on a cold day, happens.

Moore, Fasolo impact injuries, nothing to do with training, bad luck.

Dunno what happened to Toovey.
Tooves was concussed early in the 2nd qtr .Went down to the rooms and wasn't seen again all day. :(

WE may not make the finals now, but play with heart and guts like that, and we can damn well shape the eight, and shape top four, make no mistake.

^ Not sure what exactly was wrong with Faz's shoulder but geez I would have loved to see him run back out there injured and just give us something in the last, even if it was just so we could rotate a mid (sit in the pocket attacking ground ball), would have been hero stuff from Faz...........shame.

Not at all. 9/12 is very gettable.

Apart from GWS and Sydney, I think we are better than anyone else going around. And we could get lucky against either of them, as the Dogs did today against us

Shattering loss. We had Dogs on toast till the injury curse struck again!!

Howe was sensational at half back and is as good as Easton Wood. We played a smart game for the most part which reflects well on players and coaches.

One criticism is that sometimes we are a bit cute with the footy and need to kick a bit longer when within 60 metres.

Signs are good if we maintain this standard

Oxley spoil of Reid, poor kick to Sidey running into open forward line at the end of the 3rd and inaccuracy in the 2nd really cost us. Oh yeah and not having a bench may have also had something to do with it. Cox was a liability against a quick bullflogs back line, beaton wood marked everything that came near him. Frost was good, same can't be said of Maynard. At least we competed for 3 quarters.
