If one man is causing you to hate football, either he is one incredibly powerful person or you're easily swayed. What'sinaname wrote:Because of Buckley I hate football and for the third straight year, I haven't been looking forward to the start of the football season.
I wish he'd piss off so I could get excited about football again.

Oh, I'm sorry, after tonight's performance I'll make a chicken wishbone wish and hope like hell that we're going to defeat the top 4 teams of last season, plus Essendon on ANZAC Day, who just beat Adelaide last night.PyreneesPie wrote:Ever heard of optimism and positive thought Raw Hammer?doriswilgus wrote:I think you're being generous saying the Blues and Lions games are 50/50.We could easily lose all of those games.Raw Hammer wrote:Round 2 GWS | Loss

Round 8 Cats | Loss
We could seriously be 1-7 or 0-8
What part of pre season and tonight's game rings false with ANYTHING I've typed on this forum to date. I pretty much watch EVERY game of every team every week. This sh!t ain't fun to write.

In the last five years there have only been a handful of games I have taped and bothered watching again each year. I used to tape lots of games and replay them to bring back memories. It's been so long since I've got a excited about watching previous games. Each season is boring. I now live interstate for work and feel I am not missing anything. I've been to around 600-700 games and now I don't get that heartache anymore that I can't be at the G each week.

Yes Raw Hammer ....you have articulated the same issues for a number of years now.Raw Hammer wrote:Oh, I'm sorry, after tonight's performance I'll make a chicken wishbone wish and hope like hell that we're going to defeat the top 4 teams of last season, plus Essendon on ANZAC Day, who just beat Adelaide last night.PyreneesPie wrote:Ever heard of optimism and positive thought Raw Hammer?doriswilgus wrote: I think you're being generous saying the Blues and Lions games are 50/50.We could easily lose all of those games.

And guess what???...you were completely right... but others think otherwise.
Maybe they should look more at the scoreboard.

Very pertinent point I reckon and a problem we've had for some time. I love Pendles - he's a wonderful player and a great guy - but I think he retains the captaincy based on his prowess and personal dedication to the game. Such attributes do not always spell LEADER.Monco Matt wrote:We have NO leaders, NONE. .

I didn't see the Moe game. I watched the intra club. I went to the Canberra game. We have no mojo. Our club is off the pace. Our game plan is disjointed again this year. We played like we played in the intra club. We played like the Canberra game. Shit the warm up before the Canberra game was disgusting. We look like a bunch of disorganised amateurs every year. I am not a pessimist. It is what it is. It is not good enough we continue every year to be like this.

This game speaks volumes in so many ways. We're f@kt.
I'll give it five rounds, but that's it. After that, the Collingwood football club best call the Priest. Our skill level, our plan, the same-old-sh!t, it's rooted.
For so many players to be so down rnd 1, f@k that, we're sh!t. END-OF-F@KN-STORY.
Go The Pies!
PS: F@k this Sh!t, cull the rot now.
