When was the last time either of these teams kicked a goal that didn't come from a free kick? It's pathetic.

And that's two goals from frees in a row to Footscray - and they lead by 13.

Weightman has 4 of Footscray's 7. All 4 are from frees.

Essendon play a ridiculous game for the conditions. They keep conceding [possession on the ground and peeling back to zone, even though the difficulty of handling the wet ball should mean that pressure could very likely cause a turnover. Footscray are just feeding off that.

Buudogs getting an arnchair ride from the scumps. Overall the umpiring this weeek has been pitiful Whoever is selecting them should be sacked. Greene should get a medal for that incident with Stevic.
