I always wonder why other clubs didn’t want him if he is that good

He played consistent football in the SANFL. There’s no reason he can’t do it in the AFL. Even his stats in the AFL indicate he knows how to get the football. I think the main issue with him is the same issue you get with a lot of players of his height and build. You only play 4-5 at most, of them in the same team. He’s not a running intercept defender like Darcy Moore and I assume having not watched a lot of Adelaide that Adelaide prefer a Lever type defender to the strong bullocking type defender Frampton is.

Played mostly out of position in seniors.
BOG in a SANFL prelim as a CHB.
Crows knew we were into him from the start of the year.

He's my Beau McCreary for next year - And I was on Beau early

The mentality to let Roughy go amazed me. Sometimes, when looking for the next star of the game, clubs pick on the wrong player, cut their nose off despite their face.

To me clearly Roughy was quite average up forward, but as a backman, he was very dependable, sorely missed when not there, and good enough to run out his career with us.

Frampton I think will find his role, maybe with more attacking flair.

If 'Peter' Frampton can hold down a key defensive spot, thus freeing up Moore and Howe to play their natural intercept games, this will go a long way to secure our 16th Premiership in 2023.

I have him as a lock for round one. Been very impressive on the track and has stood out with his size and strength. He’s a big unit. His challenge will be to maintain his form and intensity as the weeks roll on.

If Frampton plays round 1 in the back 6
Who misses out?

Assuming Moore, Howe, McStay, Checkers, Cameron all play also
Does Cox miss as we will be very tall?

I see Frampton replacing Roughie at FB, releasing Moore yo CHB, so Murphy is the most likely out.

Would it be Murphy or Cox.

Well allowing for fact that Murphy is in back 6 one could think him

But as a young player who’s play has been very good maybe Mace misses
